SpringCard's strategy concerning legacy products
SpringCard products are constantly evolving to support new cards or provide new features. Most of the time, you just need to update the firmware if you want to benefit form changings (without stripping down your device of course). But sometimes components must be changed : in these cases, some of our devices use legacy technologies. As we are really careful to bring you seamless experience, we think that improvements must not change anything for you and your devices.
The compatibility of our new products with the previous ones is then important to us. So when we announce the end of life for some of them, the new ones have increased or updated specifications but keep same size and interface.
